An experience you must not miss!

HVYPAA went to the Villa Roma Resort and Spa located in the Catskills in Callicoon, NY today for a Unity Event. This resort is our preference to host ESCYPAA next year if we win the bid in October. It was a fantastic day of fellowship, fun, service and sobriety. We toured the hotel to envision what hosting our ESCYPAA will look like at this facility. We went swimming, go-karting, rock climbed, played ping pong, bocce ball, climbed a spider web contraption, had lunch and held a "check in" meeting with each other. We got to know each other a little bit better and we are all feeling very grateful for the friendships, this committee and excited to continue carrying the message. One of the last things one of our members said at the end of the night was, "When is the next Unity event?!" This was one of those days that encapsulates what it says on page 89 in the AA Big Book:

"Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends - this is an experience you must not miss."
