Ready for the holidays?

Staying sober during the holiday season can sometimes be tough. When people, places, and things surround you, sometimes your program is tested. Staying connected to a sponsor and network, making meetings, and getting involved in service are solid approaches to maintaining sobriety. There are plenty of special holiday events, like alkathons (24 hour events with round-the-clock meetings), which are available to anyone who needs them. More importantly, these events need volunteers! You can look for flyers and event contacts and then reach out to them to get involved in service. It's true that we have to "give it to keep it." Below are some of the local holiday events from the Area 48 HMB website...
