Our Mission Statement

We are a service committee of young people in AA. We host events to show that you can have fun in sobriety. We spread the message of hope, recovery, and unity to alcoholics. We learn and grow in our recovery through our involvement in service.

Hello family I know that it is that time of the year where Basketball is the Superbowl in March and the temperature is changing and people are feeling more alive. I also know its when we feel like our life is crazy and in complete madness. Some of us in these last few months have lost some close friends and family members. It is sad and we can let that sadness take over. I want you to know that HVYPAA is here for you. At the meeting tonight we heard a story from our Chair Matt how a King moved this boulder out of the way that was blocking everyone from getting to where they needed to go and had this young man move it. That's right everyone put it in your calander and get ready for one of the most epic times of the year. Our annual Hvypaa Bonfire. It is going to be one that wont forget. Fellowship new bonds and so much more. I remember my first time going and it changed my life. I am so excited and I can't wait for old friends and new friends. This August 2nd-4th we will be hosting at the Van Winkle Campgrounds. So get pre-registered and then pack up for one of the most amazing weekends ever. More info to come and sub committie meetings to be annouced. If you want to see something special there then make sure you come to the meetings and get your voice heard.

Hello family I would like to say that during this month of love where the birds are chirping and bees are getting ready to start waking up lets also remember we can show love to the ones still out there suffering. Open our arms up and our hearts and reach out to the one who needs us. Life can take over and sometimes we can forget to reach out to others. Hvypaa challenges you this month to reach out and help just one person. Bring this person to a event and let the love of our higher power take over. Let the program do what it does and reach deep into there soul and save them. As I have heard a thousand times bring them to the water hole but dont force them to drink if they are thirsty enough they can't help but to drin...
